Track V

Operational Dispatch Technologies and Market Modes for New Distribution Systems
“新型配电系统运行调度技术与市场模式”

As renewable energy penetration continues to rise, distribution grids are gradually evolving from unidirectional power supply networks into flexible systems characterized by multi-source coordination and interactive regulation. Their operational modes exhibit several key trends: enhanced observability, measurability, and controllability; strengthened multi-level coordinated dispatch; aggregation of flexible resources; and intelligent operation control. The evolution of new distribution systems faces several core challenges: it is necessary to address the strong uncertainty and volatility of distributed generation output, as well as to achieve real-time coordination and optimal dispatch of massive heterogeneous resources. Simultaneously, higher demands are placed on system operational safety margins and stability control, and the power market environment has also increased transaction uncertainty. This forum focuses on research areas such as operation scheduling, collaborative control, flexible interconnection, and market modes. It aims to advance the evolution of distribution system operational dispatch and market mode toward greater flexibility, reliability, and intelligence, thereby supporting the development of new-type distribution systems capable of accommodating high penetration of renewable energy.

Topics (Including but not limited to)

  • Cooperative operation and balancing technology for new distribution systems
  • Cluster control technology for new distribution systems
  • Market models for new distribution systems
  • Flexible interconnection technology for new distribution systems
  • Intelligent operation and dispatch technology for new distribution networks
