CEEPE | June 25-28, 2019 | University of California, Berkeley, USA

Power Engineering is one of the earliest fields that has developed within Electrical Engineering. It deals with generation, transmission and distribution of electric power. Power engineers also work on a variety of power devices and on power conversion (the process of transforming power from one form into another, as in electromechanical or electrochemical processes).

The aim of CEEPE 2019 is to present the latest research and results of scientists related to Energy, Electrical and Power Engineering topics. This conference provides opportunities for the different areas delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration. We hope that the conference results constituted significant contribution to the knowledge in these up to date scientific field.

Submissions should be original, previously unpublished work not currently under review by other publications. All submissions must be done electronically through the Electronic Submission System before April 30, 2019.

For any inquiry about the conference, please feel free to contact us at: ceepe@saise.org.

All submissions will be peer reviewed by 2-3 reviewers. The registered and presented papers will be published into Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS), which is indexed by Ei Compendex, Scopus, Thomson Reuters (WoS), Inspec,et al.

Welcome Message

The 3rd. International Conference on Smart Grid and Smart Cities (ICSGSC 2019) and 2nd. International Conference on Energy, Electrical and Power Engineering (CEEPE 2019) will be held at the University of California, Berkley, USA, in June 2019. These conferences will address diverse topics related to recent trends and progress made in the field of smart grid, green energy and smart cities.

For the past few years, smart grids have been one of the main topics in research and development at the academic, industry, business and government level. The smart grid is envisaged to be the next generation electric grid for Smart Cities. It enables the smart integration of conventional power generation, renewable generation, distributed generation, energy storage, transmission, distribution and demand management. The benefits of smart grid include the enhanced reliability and resilience, higher intelligence and optimized control, decentralized operation, higher operational efficiency, more efficient demand management, and better power quality. However, all these prospective transformations also bring with them numerous challenges and opportunities.

We hope the conferences and their Proceedings will offer the attendees and the readers a good opportunity to explore the state-of-the art developments and future directions of research on these topics.

Authors are invited to submit their contributions that will be reviewed by a committee of prominent individuals who have made significant contributions in the areas of the conferences. In addition, prospective participants are welcome to attend and partake of the advantage offered by having the chance to intermingle with the authors in person.

On behalf of Conference Committees

Prof. Om Malik, University of Calgary, Canada (IEEE Fellow)
